WHISKEY WEDNESDAYS!

EDRADOUR...AKA NOT RUDY

This is the inaugural Whiskey Wednesday review of Edradour, a single-malt, 10 year scotch.  It is the smallest distillery in Scotland, and produces a yearly output equal to a large distributors weekly quantity.  And it tastes like a $55 bottle of bunghole.  Sweet, sweet bunghole.

BLANTON'S
DAMN NEAR UNICORN STATUS

If you haven't heard of Blanton's, slap yourself on the dick for being such a noob. This is the original single-barrel bourbon, has a fantastically smooth taste, and the little zebras on top are fun to throw at your kids when they don't listen or follow directions. The major drawback is that you may only find it once to twice a year.

Jack Daniel's Rye

Jack Daniel's, the quintessential American Whiskey. The Jack Daniel's brand screams "Muurriiccaa" from the top of Mt Rushmore, holding the American flag, while shooting down Russian fighter jets out of the sky.  It's as American as apple pie.

This juice, however, different story. Priced at under $30, you won't have to explain to the wife where your paycheck went! We do however, want an explanation for  where the taste for this juice went, because we can't find it.

Kilbrin Irish Whiskey

Just a moment on the lips

This juice is a very straight-forward Irish blend. Priced at under $20, this is a no-lose situation.

If you buy it and don't like it, then use it as cologne, aftershave, or give it to your in-laws for a white elephant Christmas present. We don't think it will come to that, and after listening to the review and sipping on this one, you won't either!

Jefferson's Reserve

Store Picked-Bottle

Pay the man. Yes, pay the man. Whoever selected this bottle is not some geek off the street. They're handy with the juice, earn their keep, nah mean?

This bottle was picked up at a Total Wine as a store pick, and what a good pick it was.
